A loan helped to buy different varieties of cereals such as corn, beans, rice, and millet to sell in the local market to make a commission and improve her life.

Monica's story

As the moon fades away to give way to the beautiful sun, Monica jumps out of her bed to go to her farm. She is a smallholder farmer practicing dairy and crop farming to make a living. She enjoys farming, for it is her means of securing the basic necessities of life.

Monica is 35 years old and started farming due to economic necessity. She is hardworking and possesses immense knowledge, skills, and experience in farming. Monica owns a small parcel of land where she practices maize farming and rears dairy animals.

Monica has realized that cereal trading is one of the most profitable businesses in Siongiroi, where she lives. The only big challenge she faces is the lack of funds. She is requesting a loan to buy cereals. She intends to buy different varieties of cereals such as corn, beans, and millet to sell in the local market.

The market for the cereals is never a problem because the demand is always high, and she plans to take advantage of that. Because of the good relationship she has with her neighbors, Monica plans to increase her market by using word of mouth to reach more customers and markets. Monica thanks you in advance for your help and contribution.
