A loan helped to purchase high-quality seeds and good fertilizers that she will use to improve crop production, using the profits to assure her aging parents and children a secure future.

Lorna's story

Lorna (a 27-year-old mom of 4, 3 of whom are school-going) is a cheerful and enthusiastic person who enjoys and appreciates her life and having a family. She works hard each day and puts all her effort into her farming business. She is a small-scale farmer from Kitale, a rural town known for dairy farming. For the past few years, she has been actively involved in mixed farming. Her primary sources of income have been milk and maize. She sells her crop produce to the nearby market and also to neighbors. She has been making positive strides.

Although she practices crop and animal farming, she has not been making good profits because of poor farming inputs. That is why she is seeking a loan to buy farm inputs such as seeds and fertilizer to improve her crop farm. Through this loan, she will be able to purchase high-quality seeds and good fertilizer, which she will use to improve crop production. Modern farming requires the use of modern techniques, and high-quality seeds will assure her of a bumper harvest and increased profits.

Her dream is to support her aging parents and children.

Lorna hopes for your understanding and help. Her dream is to build a modern house. Make a $25 loan or more and push Lorna’s dream closer to reality.

She's very thankful in advance.
