Jane's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to buy another dairy cow, of a quality breed, that will help satisfy the demand for milk in her area.

Jane's story

Born and raised by poor parents, Jane, a 45-year-old mom of 7, always promised herself to break the poverty cycle in her family. Today, she is an established woman living in Kenyenya, Kenya. She adores her lovely family and will do anything to keep them from going to bed hungry. Jane has always ensured that she pays her children’s school fees for smooth and uninterrupted learning.

Jane has been able to master most farming techniques and is sure that, given an opportunity to bring her skills into practice, she will surely excel. Her major income sources are milk and crops. She enjoys favorable weather patterns, which boost crop production in the area.

She is seeking a loan to buy another dairy cow, of a quality breed, for producing milk and contributing manure to be used on her farm. Milk from the cow will be sold to the local market, and this will mean improved cash flow.

Through improved cash flow, profits will be high and she can comfortably take care of her family and send her kids to school. She plans to build a modern house with her profits.

Through your loan, Jane will be empowered economically. She plans to employ other people on her dairy farm to work for her, and this will empower them too. Please be inspired to support a farmer today who wants to empower others!
