Tuipule's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy more pandanus for her weaving business and also more groceries for her baking business.

Tuipule's story

Meet Tuipule. She is a 42-year-old mother of four and a wife of a government worker from the island of Ha'apai. All of her children are currently in school.

Tuipule runs businesses of weaving and baking. With her weaving business, she weaves taovala, fihu, and mats and sell them out at the local market and also to relatives overseas. It takes her about a week or two to finish up one weaving product. The larger the size of the product, the longer it takes to be done. As for her baking business, she bakes pizza, cakes, samosas, rots, and many other baked goods then delivers them to Chinese retail and also to schools for selling. She does her baking every day, and it makes really good money. She runs the baking business to help her weaving business because weaving takes time, while baking makes earnings every day.

Her businesses are running very successfully. She is planning on using her loan money to buy more pandanus and buy more groceries for her baking business. Her vision is for her children to finish their education and live a better life.
