Seilose's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!
A loan helped to buy pandanus for her weaving business, mulberry for her tapa making business, and also some money to help with the plantation's needs.
This is Seilose. She is 27 years old, married, and has three children. They live at their own home, in the island of 'Eua. Seilose runs a business of weaving, tapa making and also growing crops. Her husband takes care of the plantation, while she take care of her weaving of taro, sweet and tapa making business. In their plantation, they grow kava, potatoes, cassava and also yams. Seilose helps with selling the crops at their local market. Her main market day is Saturday. The kava is sold out from their home, and it can be bought at any time. For her tapa-making business, she joined a group of tapa-making women in their village, in order to be able to make more tapas. They conduct the tapa-making only once in a week. As for her weaving business, she runs it in her own at home, and it runs almost every day. As we can see, she runs diverse types of businesses, but is able to maintain them well. These businesses are the main source of income for their family. She is hoping to use her loan money to buy pandanus, mulberry and also help with the needs of their plantation.
