Cresilda is 51 years old and lives a simple dwelling in Concepcion, Iloilo. She and her husband earn a living through fishing. They have been sustaining themselves each day through this livelihood for more than 15 years to support their children. This couple has five children and they are ages between 19 and 9 years old.

Cresilda is now requesting for a loan through Kiva’s field partner CEV, (A Microfinance NGO) in the Philippine to buy fishing materials like crab net, fishing rope, lead weights, and floaters that they can use in their fishing activity.

With those she and her husband will be able to improve their catch and raise their earnings for a better means of living.

Furthermore, Cresilda dreams for her children to finish their studies.
