Leah's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to buy cereals such as corn and beans and lentils so that she can start selling cereals, earn more income, and realize her dreams.

Leah's story

Greetings from Vihiga!

Leah (42-years-old) is a mother of five who lives in the Vihiga area of Kenya. She has lovely children who are her greatest motivators and she perseveres because she wants to provide a better future for them.

Leah has always had a liking for farming. Her cows produce rich and creamy milk, which helps her support her family. She also practices corn farming, but has not been making good profits because of poor and unpredictable climatic conditions in her area.

Leah is requesting a loan to buy cereals. She intends to buy varieties of cereals, such as maize, beans and millet, to sell in the local market.

The market for cereals is never a problem because the demand is always high and she plans to take advantage of that. Because of the good relationship Leah has with her neighbours, she plans to increase her market by using word-of-mouth to reach more customers and markets.

You can help this woman achieve her dreams with this loan, which will surely bring big profits.

Light up a spirit this season.
