Aigul's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to buy bull calves so she can fatten them for their organic meat.

Aigul's story

Aigul is 46 years old and married, with five children. She has a secondary education and teaches in a kindergarten. To supplement her family's income, she has been raising livestock since 1991, when her father gave her five sheep. She is familiar with agricultural techniques and knows how to use resources for their intended purpose. Thanks to Aigul's hard work, her farm presently consists of five cows and 30 sheep, as well as a 0.34-hectare plot of land on which she grows cotton.

In order to develop her farm further, Aigul has turned to Bai Tushum Bank for a loan of 250,000 som (KGS) to buy bull calves. Her goal in this is to boost her income by fattening them and harvesting their organic meat. Aigul is planning to put the income generated by the loan into the ongoing development of her business and also intends to buy a vehicle for her son.
