Tafaoul Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to pay for some medical blood tests for her sick daughter in addition to paying for residency permit fees.

Tafaoul Group's story

Tafaoul Group is a group loan consisting of four Syrian refugee women who had left their hometown escaping the war in order to secure a peaceful place for their children.

Ghofran is the featured borrower of the group and a 19-year-old married mother of two children. She has been running her own handicraft business since four years ago to help her husband in covering their family expenses.

Ghofran got along with the rest of the group members again to acquire a refugee group loan from Kiva’s field partner Al Majmoua after their previous loan had covered some of their expenses. She will use her loan share to pay for some medical blood tests for her sick daughter in addition to paying for residency permit fees.

The striving mother wishes to develop her business and be able to maintain all her children's needs in the future.

The group members are featured in the picture from the right to the left as follows: Ghofran, Zakia, Rahma, and Hiba.
