Trabajando Juntos Para El Desarrollo De Libertad Group's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to put a cement floor in her living room and to buy chickens so that she can raise and then sell them to her customers at a better price.

Trabajando Juntos Para El Desarrollo De Libertad Group's story

Sarvia is the treasurer of the “Trabajando Juntos Para El Desarollo De Libertad” (“Working Together For the Development of Liberty”) communal bank, which is in its second cycle. It is made up of 10 members.

Ten years ago, Sarvia and her husband started growing rice and selling chickens as vendors at the market. They are looking to continue improving and producing in order to improve their family’s quality of life. They have three children, for whom they move forward. The oldest helps them with the rice harvests.

On this occasion, Sarvia is asking for her loan in order to improve her house. She wants to put a cement floor in her living room, and she wants to invest in the purchase of chickens so that she can raise them. She is considered to be a happy, hard-working person, with a lot of desire to continue improving.

We can see that two members are missing in the photo. The first is Tomas, who was not able to attend for health reasons. Noemi’s son had fallen and she had to return quickly to her house, and was not able to take the photo.
