Ruminah's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to build a water pump and water tank for her family.

Ruminah's story

Ruminah is a 37-year-old married woman. She has two daughters and a son. Ruminah has been a fish trader for ten years. Her husband has been working as a fisherman for 15 years, in the Pandeglang district of Indonesia. Still, their income is barely enough to provide for their basic needs. They would like to improve their living conditions and create a happy and healthy life for their children.

Ruminah is a client of KBMI. She has asked for a loan of 10,000,000 IDR from the organization. The loan money will be used to build a water pump and water tank for her family. Her family has no access to a water source in their home and still relies on the river for bathing.

Her family income is insufficient to build a water source but Ruminah will be able to repay the loan she receives. She and her family want to live a healthy life with clean water. She is very grateful for the opportunity and is thankful to all the lenders.
