Martha's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to buy plastic chairs and tables, a plastic tent with metal columns, rice in bulk, cooking oil by the gallon, and bags of chicken.

Martha's story

Martha is a 42-year-old microentrepreneur. She lives in Cartagena along with her partner. This entrepreneur was employed for many years by a Chinese food restaurant. With time she observed that her neighborhood did not have Chinese food restaurants.

She decided to go out on her own and start a business where she could put into practice all that she had learned. In 2017 she started by selling Chinese rice and sodas. This business has been a success as every day her sales and profits increase.

To date this work has allowed her to have economic stability, improve her style of life and that of her family.

She is currently requesting her first loan with Kiva's partner 'Fundación Mario Santo Domingo'. She will use her loan to buy plastic chairs and tables, a plastic tent with metal columns, rice in bulk, cooking oil by the gallon, and bags of chicken.

Martha would like to have economic support to be able to add capital to her business to improve her income. Help her with her business loan. It will be a success.
