Jose Ernesto's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to buy a vehicle to market his vegetables and fruits and expand his sales routes.

Jose Ernesto's story

José, 46, gets up very early to prepare his fruits and vegetables that he offers every morning to his customers. He started with the support of a pastor at a church by providing personal mechanical services. Through that he managed to see and get ideas to start his own greengrocer and fruit business. Plus, the pastor paid for his services, and thus he began his business.

José’s greatest support is his children, who help him by serving his clientele and adjusting the products, which include eggs, fruits and vegetables.

José has decided to get a loan from Kiva and MiCrédito with which he plans to buy a vehicle to market his vegetables and fruits and expand his sales routes.

Soon, he wants to have a large space where he can have a greater variety of products in his area and thus provide employment in his community.
