Ishingiro 540 Group

KABARORE, Eastern Province, Rwanda / Retail

Ishingiro 540 Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase more rice, sugar, lotions, soap, etc. to sell.

Ishingiro 540 Group's story

Mariya Gorette is married with five children. She is living happily with her partner in the Kabarore community in the west of the country.

For the past two years, Mariya Gorette has owned a general store. She sells rice, sugar, lotions, soap, etc. Her business is organized but lack of enough capital prevents Mariya Gorette from reaching her goal to improve the business. That is why she is requesting a loan, so that she can overcome her challenges by purchasing more rice, sugar, lotions, soap, etc. to sell.

With any profits, Mariya Gorette will be able to educate all her children without any problem, as well as expand her business. She hopes her family’s life will improve. This is her second loan with VisionFund Rwanda and she is the Ishingiro 540 Group leader. In the picture, Mariya Gorette has raised her hand.

NOTE: There is a person in the back who was photographed before disbursement. He is on the left side and has decided not to take money during disbursement because of some challenges. Do not consider him in the picture.
