Zahra Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy a new collection of clothes for her retail clothing business.

Zahra Group's story

Yasmine is the featured borrower of Zahra Group, which consists of two Syrian refugee women who are cooperating to develop their businesses after leaving their country due to unsafe conditions.

Yasmine is a 52-year-old married mother of five children and a creative handicraft maker who has been running her own business in this domain since 2007. She also has a retail clothing business to earn more income due to her husband's low financial status.

She joined Wardah to acquire another loan from Kiva's field partner Al Majmoua, to support her business with more merchandise after her previous loan covered some of her fees. She will use her share of the loan to buy a new collection of clothes, hoping that she can develop her business and meet all the needs of her big family.
