Alcina's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy more home products to resell at her small shop.

Alcina's story

Alcina is a modest and enterprising 25-year-old woman. She is married and a mother of two. She has a very good understanding and experience in selling home products. She has a store of her own, which has been running for many years, and it is located in an excellent spot, which is easy to find. Many people always come to buy her goods every day.

Running her business has made Alcina become more independent because she can be responsible for herself and also help support her family's everyday income. She previously borrowed and re-payed all of her loan and now would like another loan of $600 through Kiva's field partner KIF to help improve her store. She plans to use this loan to buy additional supply of home products such as plates, spoons, forks and many other things to resell at her store.

Alcina hopes to expand the size of her business in the future as the result of her investment and wants to thank lenders for the opportunity.
