Salamata's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to pay for sacks of corn, millet, peanuts, and beans; to save money for her children's education; and to buy land.

Salamata's story

Salamata, aged 55, is the mother of six children of whom three are in school. A merchant, she has been selling grains at a market in the capital for four years.

Now on her 5th loan cycle at YIKRI, she is up-to-date on her loan payments and is requesting a loan to pay for 10 sacks of corn, 5 sacks of millet, 5 sacks of peanuts, and 3 sacks of beans to resell and make a lot of profit. Her wish is to use the profits to reinvest in her business, to save money for her children’s education, and to purchase a plot of land.
