Emma's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to buy canned foods, noodles, and rice for her general store business.

Emma's story

Emma is a 47-year-old widow with four children and they live in a rural community in Honiara, capital of Solomon Island.

She owns and operates a small general store selling food items such as rice, noodles, biscuits and canned foods in her community to earn a living. She has been in this business for four years.

Emma has requested a loan to pay for additional canned foods, noodles, and rice to increase the stocks and assist her in running her business.

She hopes to use her profits to meet her family's weekly expenses and improve her business.

She joined SPBD in 2019 to gain access to financial services for her business and this is her first loan.
