Kl_Niakhtock Group's story

This group was created in 2013. It is composed of four women who seized the opportunity to join a banc villageois. The women maintain a very good relationship of solidarity and mutual assistance. Their main occupation is processing and marketing local juices.

Madame Ndeye Khane, the woman raising her hand on the right side of the photograph, is the group's representative. She is 38 years old, married, and the mother of two boys.

She is involved with the processing and marketing of local juices. She obtains raw materials at the weekly markets in her community. Once the juices have been processed, she returns to sell them in the village.

With her loan, she intends to buy baobab fruit, hibiscus flowers, sugar, powdered milk, natural flavour, and bottles for packaging.

The profits from her business will allow her to build her savings and assist her husband with daily expenses.
