Loreta's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to buy seedlings, fertilizers, spraying cans, bush knives, spades and hoes for her farming business.

Loreta's story

Loreta is a 35 year-old woman. She is married with four children. They live in a community outside Honiara, the capital of Solomon Islands.

She has a small garden where she grows fruits, vegetables and cabbages that she can sell at the market to earn a living. She has been doing this for five years.

Loreta has requested a loan to pay for additional seedlings, fertilizers, spraying cans, bush knives, spades and hoes to assist her with her farming activities.

She plans to use her profits to meet her family's weekly expenses and help pay for her children's school fees.

She joined SPBD in 2015 to gain access to financial services for her business.
