Claudia Noemi's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to buy Sowing Kits (which include certified seeds, organic compounds (urea), fertilizer, herbicides and pesticides) and provide wages for her workers.

Claudia Noemi's story

Tosagua is a productive region in Ecuador, where cocoa, coffee, bananas and corn, among other agricultural outputs, are harvested. The region is also known for the raising of livestock, poultry and pigs and is famous for a typical culinary dish called "Chame" (a fried and/or roasted fish).

Claudia is 34 years old. She maintains a free union relationship with her partner and has 3 children ages 16, 11 and 7. All her children are in school. Her partner is a farmer and they live in a house lent to them by their father-in-law. In order to support their family and contribute to household expenses, both Claudia and her partner are engaged in agriculture. They plant corn, cotton, peanuts and squash in both their land and land they rent. They sell their products in markets and to wholesalers. Although agricultural work is hard, they both continue moving forward to ensure the wellness of their family.

With the requested loan, they will buy Sowing Kits (which include certified seeds, organic compounds (urea), fertilizer, herbicides and pesticides) and provide wages for their workers.

Their dream is to own their own land and continue working in agriculture, which is what they love.
