Los Emprendedores Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to perform weeding, pruning, and fertilizing of her cacao crop and to improve her services.

Los Emprendedores Group's story

Nelza is a 23-year-old single mother. She has two children, ages four and two. She belongs to the group Los Emprendedores [The Entrepreneurs]. It is in its seventh cycle and is made up of nine members. Her friend Maria is the leader, and Nelza is the secretary. Her associates consider her to be an enterprising woman with a great desire to continue fulfilling her goals.

In spite of being a mother at a young age, Nelza has been able to get ahead with the support of her parents. They live next to her and are always there to support her.

On this occasion, Nelza is requesting a loan for the maintenance of her cacao crop. She wants to do weeding, pruning, and fertilizing. She wants to improve her crop.

Nelza has been working in agriculture for more than three years planting cacao and fruits (citrus and bananas). She also works as a day laborer on other parcels.
