She and her colleagues are seeking from Kiva lenders a loan of SLL 4,000,000 in order to invest in their businesses. Isatu C. will use her share of SLL 800,000 to buy shoes, gara lapper-making materials, and soaps in order to improve her business. Isatu C. was born in Makeni, a city in northern Sierra Leone. The 30-year-old is married with four children. Her husband is a businessman and all four of her children are attending primary school.
