Gulzina's story

Gulzina is 37 years old and married, with 3 children. She has post-secondary education. In her nature she is hardworking, goal-oriented and entrepreneurial. She is well familiar with the technology involved in leading an agricultural business, and is able to invest funds as intended. As the primary source of income for her family, she has been practicing animal husbandry since 2009. She also sells organic milk in a small store. Thanks to her steady efforts and responsible approach to work, she has been able to expand her farm to have a cow, 30 sheep and 1.0 hectare of land on which she cultivates organic beans. With the goal of further developing her farm, Gulzina has turned to Bai Tushum Bank for a loan in the amount of 50,000 somoni (KGS). This will be used to purchase dairy cows in order to increase her sales of organic milk, as well as her income from cattle breeding. She intends to invest the profits from the loan into the future development of her farm through the increase of milk sales. She will also build a new home.
