Mairam's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to pay for harvesting to increase her income from organic harvest, and to build a cattle barn.

Mairam's story

Mairam is 51 years old, married and has three children. She also raises two grandchildren. She has a high school education. She knows agricultural technology well, and is able to invest money efficiently. As a main source of income for her family, she has worked with livestock breeding since 1994. She also sows organic cereals and potatoes, and sells organic milk.

Thanks to Mairam's persistent work, her farm currently has five cows, 16 sheep and six horses. She also has 2.2 hectares of irrigated land, on which she grows potatoes and barley. With an aim to further develop her business, Mairam turned to the bank "Bai Tushum" for a loan in the amount of 100,000 som (KGS) for harvesting organic products, and for building a barn. She aims to increase her income from breeding cattle.

Mairam plans to invest the income from the loan in further developing her farm, increasing the number of dairy cows, and saving money for purchasing a house for her son.
