Sabina's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy another dairy cow to improve her milk vending business, meeting high demand and, as a mother, support her children.

Sabina's story

Sabina (56-year-old mom of six, four of whom are school-going) is a mother who's one the hardest working women in Bungoma. She's the voice of hope for her children who are in school. She's been a mixed farmer many years, enabling her to make tremendous progress.

She's always wanted to care for another dairy cow, but a lack of capital has prevented her from doing so. She is seeking a loan to buy another dairy cow to improve her milk vending business.

The cow she intends to buy is a breed that produces rich creamy milk daily. With this cow, she'll produce more milk, which will translate into more income. Demand for dairy milk in her area is high, but the supply is low. So, through this loan, Sabina will have more milk and comfortably meet demand.

Her vision is to have even more dairy cows so she'll be able to build a biodigester, which would help her save more energy.
