Rosa Emma's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase thread with which she will be able to improve her production of hammocks, fishing nets and woven bags. Another portion of the money will be used to purchase corn.

Rosa Emma's story

Rosa is single and lives with her mother and two brothers. They are 19 and 25 years old. Rosa has relatives who lives abroad. She has no economic dependents, but she helps with family expenses.

Rosa learned from her family the craft of weaving agave fiber, how to make tortillas to sell, and how to raise poultry. She says that it was not easy to gain experience in these trades but with much determination, she managed to succeed. She works from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm.

Rosa decided to apply for a loan in order to have the economic resources to purchase thread. With this material, Rosa will be able to improve her production of hammocks, fishing nets and woven bags. Another portion of the money will be used to purchase corn. This will enable her to replenish her stock to make tortillas.

Rosa’s ambition is to grow her business, increase her income and share a more decent lifestyle with her family.
