Samira's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!
A loan helped to register her kids in school for the upcoming school year, and buy all the needed books and stationary.
Samira is a 25-year-old Lebanese married woman and mother of two children, who attend school. Her little son is standing next to her in the photo. Samira has been working from her home as a private teacher since 2013. She finished her pedagogical education in the local university and started her business; she equipped a small room with tables, boards, and the needed books to offer her pupils the best education. Samira’s husband is a house painter. He works in workshops and upon his clients' requests. Although the couple is hardworking, they are facing some financial problems due to the bad circumstances in their country, especially after the government increased educational subscriptions. Today, Samira is requesting a loan from Kiva partner Vitas-Lebanon to register her kids in school for the upcoming school year and buy all the needed books and stationary.
