Assata's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support
A loan helped to purchase more rice, oil, meat and other ingredients that will be used to prepare cooked food to sell.
She learned how to sell from her sister and started to sell with some earnings from her father. For the past three years, she has been managing her own business. She transports supplies to her business site by taxi and she has had no problems with her sales. She sells Monday through Saturday.
To continue her sales, Assata applied for a loan through BRAC Liberia, a Kiva field partner. The loan will be used to purchase more rice, oil, meat and other ingredients that will be used to prepare cooked food to sell to her good clients.
Assata likes her business because sales are profitable and it also helps to send her children to school. In the future, she wants to run a larger business. She wishes to say thanks.
