Teresia's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to pay rent for land so that she can improve her farm production and support her family.

Teresia's story

Get to know Teresia who is 34 years old and the mother of one child. She is a woman with a glorious history of perseverance, courage, and the ability to overcome extreme adversity. Teresia lives in a small and humble village in the Nkubu area of Kenya. As the key breadwinner for her family, she has been practicing mixed farming for the past few years. Her primary sources of income have been milk and crops.

Teresia is seeking a 100,000 KES loan to pay for renting land so that she can improve her farm's production and profits and thus ensure that her child graduates from school. With the rented land, she will be able to plant different varieties of crops.

It takes a lot for a smallholder farmer to risk limited resources to expand a farm business. With your help, Teresia will be able to pay the high costs of the farm inputs necessary for expansion. A significant portion of the profits will be put back into the business to fuel growth as she sets up a good foundation for her child. She really hopes for your help and contribution.

Teresia is thankful in advance.
