Vettelinn's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support
A loan helped fund the purchase of inventory for the high season, buy equipment and provide working capital to keep my business running effectively and efficient.
Hi everyone! My name is Vettelinn. I have always worked behind a desk. And so my parents. Routinely working 8-5 to be able to fulfill duties. But even as a child I wanted more than that and to be able to express my creative side working on something that would fill me with satisfaction. Many have asked where I got the idea of starting my T-shirt business. Easy, from bad experiences. The disaster of my daughter's senior class shirts and how difficult it was to get matching tops for a group of friends. I had a conversation with my husband and he, coming from a family of entrepreneurs, lighted a spark within, fed the idea and helped me execute it. And glad he did, because shortly after, due to Hurricane Maria, his business and our main source of income had to close. From the idea to the opening of the shop, a year passed, and another year since then till today. How much we have achieved in such a short time and with such limited resources amazes me. That’s what happens when love and family work hard together. Exactly for that reason, we motivate each of our employees to carry out and give a good fight for what they want in life. Being an entrepreneur showed me how amazing and rewarding it is to be able to feed our families and employees. Our plans continue to grow and we are confident that TeeChealo will expand its operations, create more jobs and help emerging businesses.
