Lg_Beyti Rip Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy fabric, shoes, and women's accessories.

Lg_Beyti Rip Group's story

This group is composed of 27 women who share strong bonds of solidarity and mutual support. They live in the same village and seized the opportunity to join the banc villageois when it was set up in the area in December 2010. They mainly work in small business.

Bessé, standing at the far right of the photo with her hand raised, is the group's representative. She is 53 years old, married, and mother of four children including two boys, the youngest being 17 years old. She sells fabric, shoes, and women's accessories and benefits from experience in this business, having practised it for several years.

With this new loan, she plans to buy fabrics (wax and basin varieties), shoes, and women's accessories to resell in her neighbourhood. With the profits made from her work, she plans to build up her savings, develop her business, and take care of her sick child.
