Marcos Antonio's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to invest in buying agricultural supplies and in paying workers to maintain 4.22 hectares of his coffee crop.

Marcos Antonio's story

Marcos has worked for many years in the coffee sector. On his small farm, he has a distribution of different types of coffee so that he has a variety of products to sell. He also has an area for growing basic grains, but these are for his own consumption. His farm, which is in the northern region of Nicaragua, is 4.22 hectares, and his wife helps him manage it. His farm has Fair-trade certification, which signifies his commitment to his community.

For this crop cycle, he--in conjunction with the technical team at PAC--has designed a plan to improve the nutrition for his coffee plants. The funds requested will be invested in buying agricultural supplies and in paying workers to maintain his 4.22-hectare coffee crop.

With the support of his family, he has been able to maximize the resources and productivity of his farm, which has stabilized his family situation and supported his community. His dream is to have a plantation model, through which he can share his experience with other producers and improve his family's well-being.

This is his first loan from PAC.
