Jesus Alberto is a 27-year-old microentrepreneur who lives in the city of Barranquilla together with his family. He started his own store business, an activity that has been an excellent opportunity to generate additional income and tto grow.

This entrepreneur offers in his shop groceries including confectionery, soft drinks, bottled juices, tubers, vegetables and dairy products. Starting at 6 a.m. he is available to his customers until 9 p.m.

Jesus is a single father and he gets up every day in the hope of being able to provide his family with a better well-being, and that is why he works hard to achieve that goal.

He wants to increase his inventories and with that his sales. That is why he is currently applying for a Kiva loan, the first one with the Mario Santo Domingo Foundation. He will use it to buy flour, sacks of rice, meat, oil, soft drinks, grains, tubers, household cleaning products, etc.
