Jekabara Group's story

Haoua is the one holding spaghetti over the container of oil in the photo. A Malian woman, she is uneducated, 47 years old, married, and the mother of six children, aged 13 to 23, of whom four are in school. Her husband is a farmer.

Doing commerce in foodstuff, such as oil, spaghetti, tea, sugar, etc., she takes out loans at RMCR to pay for many products. She gets her supplies from the fairs in town to resell at the same fairs and has been in this business for over twenty years.

From her sales, she earns about 12,500 francs per fair in profit, which enables her to meet certain family needs and personal needs. Her dream is to have a bigger loan to develop her business and to improve her living conditions.
