Je Nyuma Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy sacks of rice to resell in order to meet her family's needs.

Je Nyuma Group's story

Alima is the woman holding the container of rice in the photo. She is an uneducation Malian, 54 years old, married and mother of five children aged from 5 to 13 years old; three of them are in school. Her husband is a farmer and livestock breeder. Alima is a creditworthy client.

She has been working in the trade of rice and peanuts for over 20 years. She gets her supplies in the local markets and resells her products in the same markets. The profits that she makes enable her to help her husband meet their family's needs.

She is borrowing money from the RMCR to buy a larger quantity of trade produce in order to grow her business. The drop in prices is the only problem that she often encounters. In the future, Alima would like to have a large fund to be able to be independent in her work.
