Ceesiri Group's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to buy rams to resell in order to provide for the family's needs.

Ceesiri Group's story

Alou is the one holding on to the ram's horn in the photo. He is a 57-year-old Malian farmer, who is married and father to five children, four boys and one girl. His children range from eight to 25 years old and are all educated. His wife is a housewife and often buys and sells products.

Alou is a good and solvent customer with more than 30 years experience of raising cattle and sheep. He makes his purchases in the surrounding markets and resells in the same markets. Sometimes he goes to Bamako and markets further away.

The profits he makes enable him to provide for his family's needs, including its health and clothing costs, as well as the children's schooling. He borrows money from RMCR to fund and grow his business at the appropriate time. The problems he encounters are little-known illnesses and a fall in prices of his animals. In the future he would like to get a more significant loan so that he can expand his animal-raising activities and provide for his needs.
