Maura Estela's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase merchandise for the store from her suppliers, and to build a shop to put and grow her business.

Maura Estela's story

Maura lives with two of her five children who are aged 17 and 7. Her other children are adults and live with their own families. She has been separated from the father of her children for five years.

From the moment that she became the head of her household, she saw the need to have a stable source of income in order to help her younger children get ahead. This is how she decided to go out and sell different products door-to-door. With time, she has been able to establish in her own home a business selling basic necessities.

The loan that she has requested will help her to have the capital to purchase merchandise for the store from her suppliers, and to build a shop to put her business and help grow it.

The investment will help to pay her suppliers in full, since at the moment she gets the merchandise through credit, which isn’t favorable because she pays very high prices. She will also improve the facilities of the store.

Her dream is to support the children that still live with her so they can get ahead.
