A loan helped to buy fertilizer and other farm inputs for his crops.

Roderick's story

sRoderick, a 43-year old farmer from Cabanatuan City, Nueva Ecija. He is happily married to Madelyn and blessed with four children who are still pursuing their studies.

To make a living, he has been engaged in the farming industry, planting calamansi (a citrus fruit), which has been the source of their daily needs for almost eight years. Roderick delivers bundles of calamansi in their public market to resell after they harvest. He has been a good paying client of Alalay sa Kaunlaran (ASKI), Inc. for more than two years.

Roderick has been granted a loan amounting to PHP 60,000 under the agricultural loan program of ASKI. His loan will be used to buy fertilizer and other farm inputs for his crops.

Roderick is looking forward to the expansion of his calamansi plantation. He hopes that with the help of ASKI and Kiva lenders, it will come true.
