Arak & Rinad Group's story

Thahabiye is the featured borrower of Arak & Rinad Group which consists of two Syrian refugee women. She is a 35-year-old married mother of four children who works in agriculture and benefits from a limited income to help her beloved husband in covering their family's expenses.

Thahabiye is a striving mother who puts in so much effort and tries her best to balance between her work and her life. She always seeks ways to improve her family's living conditions.

For this reason, she came along with Waad to acquire a refugee loan product from Kiva's field partner Al Majmoua. Thahabiye will use her loan share to buy some sewing tools and some textiles in order to start her own sewing business in order to benefit from an additional source of income.

The persistent mother wishes her family success and hopes to stay capable of supporting them.
