A loan helped to purchase cow in order to expand her dairy business.

Aleya's story

Aleya is a 50-year-old woman from the Alipurduar district of West Bengal. She has a family of three members. She and her family run a dairy business. With a monthly household income of INR 10,000, the family barely earns enough to make ends meet. The meager monthly savings cannot facilitate business expansion they need.

For this reason, Aleya has applied for a loan amount of INR 40,000 from BJS, one of Milaap's field partners. With the loan amount, the family has decided to buy a milk cow. Through this investment, they will be able to procure milk, and other milk products like butter, ghee, paneer, curd, etc. The sale of the products will increase the monthly income of the family and raise their standard of living.

She and her family will be grateful for your support.
