Salkyn's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to buy cattle to increase her income from raising cattle.

Salkyn's story

Salkyn is 62 years old, married, and has one son. She has a secondary education. She masters agricultural techniques and knows how invest funds purposefully. As a main source of income fro her family, Salkyn has been raising livestock since 1999. Thanks to Salkyn's hard work she has two cows, ten sheep, two horses and 4.0 ha [10 acres] of arable land, where she grows beans.

In order to develop her farm further, Salkyn had reached out to the Bai Tushum Bank for a loan in the amount of 100,000 som (KGS) to buy cattle, so as to increase her income from raising cattle. Salkyn plans to invest the revenues from her loan in a further development of her business as well as to improve her family's quality of life.
