Canana Group's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to buy mordore [a brown-colored] fabric and sewing thread in bulk.

Canana Group's story

Marie-Jean is a client with the micro-finance institution Hekima and the president of the banque villageois called "Canana." Married and 51 years old, she is the mother of five children who are in school. Her husband does not have a job.

Marie-Jean is a seamstress and she knits and does embroidery. She started this business 20 years ago with funds she received from her brother. Later, she sought a loan with Hekima to support her business. With this new loan, she is going to buy mordore [a brown-colored] fabric and sewing thread in bulk to strengthen her business. She struggles with a lack of customers.

Marie-Jean wishes to build a house for her family. Finally, she thanks Hekima and their partners for their support of entrepreneurs who lack access to banking services.
