Sarah's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to buy farm inputs, such as certified seeds and nutrient-rich fertilizers, to improve production for this repeat borrower with a good payment history.

Sarah's story

Speaking with Sarah (a returning borrower with a good credit history), it becomes obvious that she is a very hardworking and helpful woman, and that everything she does is for her family's benefit and well-being. She lives in a humble home in the town of Kapsowar, along with a handsome husband and their two angelic-looking children. She always strives to give them a decent life and a good education.

She has been doing agriculture for the past 10 years now. She makes money selling products from her farm, including milk and crops. She enjoys plowing her farm and watering her plants. Crop diseases pose a big challenge for her, and also poor productivity.

Sarah is seeking a loan to buy farm inputs. With the loan, she plans to buy good quality seeds and fertilizer, which will help increase soil fertility and productivity on her farm. Increased productivity will allow her to improve her quality of life and living standards. Through training from Juhudi Kilimo, she has learned about the culture of saving and she plans to use the increased income to improve her farming. This loan will go a long way in changing the life of Sarah and her family. Like Sarah, thousands of women smallholder farmers are waiting for your help. Take heart, make a loan.
