José Ezequiel's story

Jose did not have the opportunity to attend school, as his parents' resources were not sufficient. He is married and has seven young children, five of whom go to school.

He earns a living in construction and farming. He grows corn and beans in a small plot of land that he owns, located close to his home, and works from 6:00 am to 12 noon. His wife is a seamstress and helps him whenever she can.

In the past, he's been helped by two Kiva loan that he paid off on time. He needs a new loan to buy agricultural inputs to grow yucca. He will also pay for labor to prepare the soil.

Jose dreams of supporting his children always so that they can study. He also wants to keep working to generate income and ensure they will not lack anything.
