'itanoa's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to expand her business by growing vegetables and plowing the plantation so she can pay for her kids' school fees and help with her house renovation.

'itanoa's story

'Itanoa is a 43-year-old mother of eight from the Western area of Tongatapu. Her husband is a farmer, and they live in their own home. Her business is growing crops, and her husband grows the crops while she does the marketing. On their plantation, they grow taro, sweet potatoes, and yams. They also grow vegetables, leafy greens, and kava (Tongan beer).

'Itanoa makes good money from her business, and the business is running very successfully. The only challenges she faces are thieves and lack of workers. More workers are needed in both planting and harvesting. Also, someone is needed to guard the plantation at night against thieves.

Her vision for the future is to become a successful businesswoman.
