Muong Phang 12 Group's story

Mrs. Oi is a 32-year-old Thai lady working as a farmer. She lives with her husband who is also a farmer, along with her school-aged child. To cover living expenses and her child's tuition fee, she works at many agriculture activities, including cultivating rice, vegetables, corn, cassava, and canna and breeding chickens, pigs, and fish on a small scale.

Fish and pig-farming have brought a high profit for her business, so in this loan from the Anh Chi Em Program, she wants to use a portion of the loan to buy small fish and pigs. She said that she is grateful to farming and the breeding technique support, as well as the previous loan from Anh Chi Em, because thanks to them, she dealt with the problem of lack of capital and understanding agriculture. She hopes her family will be more abundant in life and her child will go to college in the future
