Fortaleza De Dios Group
Fortaleza De Dios Group's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support
A loan helped zoila needs to restock the shelves of her convenience store and buy spices.
Fortaleza De Dios Group's story
Zoila is currently requesting her first Kiva loan that she will use to restock her store and purchase spices for her delicious recipes.
There are eight ladies in the Trust Bank. They raise poultry, sell shoes, clothing and prepared foods and have convenience stores. They learn to manage their loans through monthly trainings as part of the “Microcredit Plus” program of Friendship Bridge. Because the women have little or no formal education, they understand the tremendous importance of education. The trainings are essential to their success and cover business, health, family, and women's topics. They are designed by a facilitator who uses pictures, diagrams, role playing, and games to share information. The women are excited to learn and often share the information with family and friends.
Zoila and the women in the Trust Bank send their gratitude to Kiva investors from all parts of the world. They appreciate your generosity and your kindness. Thank you!
