Joan's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped buying more assorted products for her store.

Joan's story

Joan M., 29, is making sure that her family has enough to cover their daily needs. Married to Joseph M. who works at a printing press, she is blessed with two children. She makes sure that she helps her husband earn their living so that their family can have a better life. She has managed her own variety store for several years. Joan has been a regular member of Center for Community Transformation* (CCT) for more than two years now. She regularly attends their weekly fellowship meetings and pays her weekly dues consistently. Because of her good repayment performance with her previous loans, she was able to borrow eight times through CCT’s Cooperative. She is consistent in paying her dues because she uses the money she borrows in buying added stock for her business. Her business lets her earn a profit of PHP 8,000 per month. Now with your help, she would like to apply for a PHP 18,000 loan. This amount will be used as a source of added working capital for her expanding business by buying more stock for her store. She dreams that her business will continue to grow so that she can finance her children’s schooling until they graduate from college. * All CCT community partners / clients are organized into fellowship groups that meet on a weekly basis. A fellowship group is composed of 15 to 30 community partners. The fellowship groups gather each week to study the Word of God, build social capital, and pay Micro Finance loans.
