Charles's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy fertilizers for cocoa and banana plantations then pay casual laborers working on plantations.

Charles's story

Charles 45 years is a married man with six children and three children are schooling. He lives in Kagadi, Uganda.

He is a learned person employed as a primary teacher assured of a monthly salary on government payroll though not enough to meet all his financial demands. He deals in farming mostly growing cocoa and bananas for income generation alongside other crops like cassava, beans, and maize for food and cash through the sale of surplus.

He was inspired by the desire to generate income to support his family following the little pay from teaching.

Charles is requesting a loan facility to buy fertilizers for cocoa and banana plantations then pay casual laborers working on plantations which he will harvest and sell later to raise money for school fees and cater for other family needs.

He works hard to uplift the standards of living as well as educating his children up to a desired level for self sustainability and also to prepare for his retirement from teaching.
